Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Mero Najik platform (“Platform”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Platform. Mero Najik reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.

2. User Accounts

To use certain features of the Platform, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.

  • You must provide accurate and complete information during registration.
  • You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account.
  • You may not transfer your account to another person.
  • Mero Najik may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Vendor Terms

Vendors who list services on Mero Najik agree to the following additional terms:

  • All information provided in vendor profiles, including pricing, portfolio, and service descriptions, must be accurate and up to date.
  • Vendors are responsible for fulfilling bookings as agreed upon with customers.
  • Vendors agree to pay a platform fee on completed services at the rate set by Mero Najik.
  • Mero Najik reserves the right to verify vendor identity, business registration, and service quality.
  • Vendors may not solicit customers to transact outside the Platform to avoid fees.

4. Customer Terms

Customers who use Mero Najik to find and book services agree to the following:

  • Booking requests must include accurate event details and requirements.
  • Customers are responsible for communicating clearly with vendors regarding expectations and scope of work.
  • Payment for services is arranged and made directly with the vendor. Mero Najik does not process or handle customer-to-vendor payments.
  • The Mero Najik Guarantee is subject to the conditions outlined on the Guarantee page.

5. Payments & Platform Fee

Mero Najik is a marketplace that connects customers with vendors. Mero Najik does not process, hold, or facilitate payments between customers and vendors. Customers pay vendors directly for services rendered.

  • Prices displayed on the Platform are in Nepalese Rupees (NPR) unless otherwise stated.
  • Vendors pay a platform fee to Mero Najik on completed services. Platform fee rates are communicated to vendors upon registration.
  • Mero Najik does not issue refunds, as it does not collect payments from customers. If a dispute arises, Mero Najik will mediate between the customer and vendor under the Mero Najik Guarantee.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of Mero Najik or its content suppliers and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Users may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from Platform content without prior written permission.

7. Limitation of Liability

Mero Najik acts as a marketplace connecting customers and vendors. Mero Najik is not a party to the service agreement between customers and vendors and is not liable for:

  • The quality, safety, or legality of services provided by vendors.
  • The accuracy of vendor profiles or customer requests.
  • Any disputes between customers and vendors, except as covered by the Mero Najik Guarantee.
  • Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Platform.

8. Privacy

Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information.

9. Changes to Terms

Mero Najik reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a prominent notice on the Platform. Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Nepal. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Kathmandu, Nepal.
